Custom Homes in Wilmington, North Carolina

about us

Christian Hart Homes was founded by Kyle and Karen Gaskill in 1996. For the past 20+ years, the two have been working with clients who dream of coastal living! Our experience ranges from Custom Home Builds & Renovations to New Additions.

When we had our first consultation with Kyle we were certain we wanted Christian Hart Homes to be a part of this journey. The team, we were so grateful to work with, answered any and all questions with great intent. With active and open communication we realized there was no need for stress. One of the things we worried about was sub-contractors. When we learned Christian Hart Homes used local and consistent subs, our worries were gone. My family and I were encouraged to visit the site anytime during the build so we could see firsthand what was going on. Once we settled into our home, anytime something popped up that needed attention we went back to our vendor/sub-list that was provided for us so we knew exactly who to contact with the problem. We were able to pick everything out for our home, to fit our wants and needs. Christian Hart Custom Homes will forever be a part of our family.

Kyle Gaskill

Spending the majority of his life in the Outer Banks Kyle grew up calling eastern North Carolina home. While being the head of his home Kyle has built Christian Hart Homes from the ground up. He wears many hats, dad, papa, CEO and many more, all of which he fully thrives in. When he isn’t focused too intensely on a project, you can normally catch him cracking a joke, one he plans to use any chance he gets!

Karen Gaskill

This girl is a Wilmington native through and through. While raising four outstanding children, Karen successfully runs a thriving real estate business all while being a talented hairstylist and the go-to woman for all things interior design. She is always on the go but in her free time you can probably find her with her feet up somewhere on Wrightsville Beach, the place she calls home.

Madeline Brown

When Madeline isn’t working in the office, with an iced coffee in her hand, you can most likely spot her at the UNCW library where she is pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, as well as studying to earn her NC Real Estate License. She plans to live on a small farm, far into the country so she can have as many chickens as her heart desires!
